Most of the time, when adults tell you to do something you don't really want to do, (or tell you NOT to do something you really want to do)it's because they've already made some mistake. You're profiting from their learning the hard way. It just takes some time to figure out why they were right. And your mother is always right.
The name of this blog came from a couple ideas that have nothing to do with direction. Right is the idea that I am always right, never mistaken. This fact, however, is mistaken, though I act it all the time. Left is the idea that I am the youngest of five. My mother once told me that it is easier to leave than to be left.
And when you start teaching, don't wear high heels.
ReplyDeleteI went in with my new running shoes on yesterday, and almost fell. It was super slippery. I have a new respect for those slip-resistant shoes.
